Why wander far away when the good is so close? This tour takes you to a real metropolitain oasis. 2 hours of holiday feeling to take a deep breath and relax. On the way to the nearby and quiet "Rummelsburger  Bucht" you can admire 3 enchanted, overgrown islands: "Liebesinsel", "Kratzbruch" and "Bullenbruch". However, the islands and the 10-metre wide strip of water surrounding them are protected - so please approach only at a respectful distance, as this is a habitat for birds such as woodpeckers, nuthatches, herons, swans, ducks and cormorants, and a protected habitat for beavers and otters. Turtles have also been sighted. Bats hibernate in a cellar that still exists on the island. This tour is especially great for children, there is so much to discover. Just a little paradise! You'll find even more peace and quiet in Rummelsburger Bucht, a mysterious jewel with two faces - next to modern townhouses stand impressive industrial monuments and Berlin's most creative houseboats float. Here you can paddle in peace without having to fear large steamships and simply let your mind wander, read a book, soak up the sun...
