TREPTOWER SPREE
Treptow is a stroke of luck for Berlin - between a rushing metropolis and quiet nature, between land and water, between history-laden past and resolute modernity. Treptow is the gateway to the metropolis, where the Spree flows into the city center. Treptow is the great freedom, is the area for all water sports enthusiasts.
Admittedly: on one of the most beautiful banks of Treptow, the island of youth, is our home port ... from here let yourself drift, between the Stralau peninsula and Treptower Park, between the legs of the Molecule Men, along the former GDR customs bridge, past the MS Hoppetosse, the sunken MS Dr. Ingrid Wengler, Badeschiff here, Spreespeicher there, past the lock, TV tower ahead - but wait! Before turning, dare to look through the imposing Oberbaum Bridge. Because from here on: “We have to stay outside!”. Unfortunately, small boats are not allowed to drive through the Oberbaum Bridge. If you still want to conquer the city center by canoe or pedal boat: We'll tell you the solution ... take a look at the "Urbanhafen" or "City Center" tours.
